Alfortish Enterprises is the surviving entity of the Alfortish Family’s time in the Cemetery and Monument Industries. This time and our success has spanned over 100 years and required the hard work of many hard working people. Our family has always held offices in Gretna and New Orleans, Louisiana but since 2007 we have begun to rapidly grow and expand by capitalizing on opportunities presented to our company and making strategic acquisitions in our industries. This growth and expansion has been successfully executed by a great family of personnel and has never jeopardized the quality of our performance or products. We will continue to grow by treating our customers like family, taking an exclusive pride in our work and staying determined to be the best.
The photo located above is the oldest physical evidence that we still possess showing our family’s beginning in the Cemetery and Monument Industries. It is dated August 22, 1906, although it has been well researched that our first generation, Henry Alfortish, was building tombs in New Orleans as early as the 1870’s. We look intrepidly towards the future and continuing to respectfully serve our customers while continuing to back our products and services with five generations of skill and experience in all fields of the Cemetery and Monument Industries.
